Hiking & Biking
TVC is located in the popular Aska Advanture area where mountain biking and hiking enthusuast can enjoy the 17-mile trails on Aska road just minutes from here. The views are awesome as you climb to the top of the mountain ridge and enjoy the Blue Ridge Lake.
Blue Ridge Scenic Railways
In down town blue Ridge you can jump on board the Scenic Railway and enjoy the beautiful ride along the Toccoa River for a 26-mile ride.
Whitewater Rafting
The Toccoa River is the main feeder for the Blue Rige Lake and the Blue Ridge Lake feeds the Ocoee River. The name of the river changes in Copperhill, Tennessee as the river uniquely travels North. We are located about an hour from the Ocoee and one and a half hours from Nantahala.
Waterfalls
If hiking to waterfalls is your flavor, there are several nearby. A favorite is Long Creek Falls, a 50-foot twin drop just a short hike off combined, Appalachian and Benton Mackaye Trail. For a short hike the Fall Branch Falls is a nice 30-foot drop.
Famous Helen, Georgia
The famous and quaint town of Helen is located about one and one-half hours away, home of Helen Water Park, where you can enjoy the water slides as well as the lazy river, shopping and more.
