About us
My parents, Mr. & Mrs. Herman Long, own and operate the Toccoa Valley Campground here in Blue Ridge, Georgia. They have owned and operated the campground for many years. Many of you are acquainted with us already. Those of you who are not familiar with the family, we would like to tell you a little about the facilities.
Camping
The campground has 14 tent sites and 10 full hook-ups for RV camping. Fourteen of our sites are waterfront.
Tubing and Rafting
We are blessed with one of the most beautiful stretches of the Toccoa River for tubing, boating, kayaking, and rafting. The trip is 6 miles long and last around 2-3 hours depending on the water level. The tubes are custom designed with a bottom and handles to make the trip more relaxing and pleasant, especially for children.
Groups
When making plans for your Sunday School classes, youth groups or adults --please keep us in mind this summer. Our fee is normally $10 per person, but with a group of 25 or more we will discount the price to $9 per person. If you have as many as 50 people in your group, we will reduce the rate to $8. Our trips are offered Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m until 2 p.m. for large groups.
